White Hot Chocolate Coffee

Your Guide to Coffee / Tea.
You don't always have to use dark chocolate when making cocoa. INGREDIENTS:
3 oz white chocolate, chopped
2 cups half n half
six large cups or mugs
2 cups hot SUNBELT coffee GARNISH: Whipped cream and chocolate curls, optional
PREPARATION:
Brew the coffee. Add the white chocolate and half-and-half to a microwaveable bowl and heat on high for one minute. Stir, then heat for one more minute. Mixture should be thoroughly melted and smooth; if not repeat for 30 more seconds or longer as necessary. Remove bowl from the microwave oven and stir in the hot, brewed coffee. Using a ladle, scoop out the ambrosia and pour into six large cups or mugs.
Garnish, as desired with whipped cream and chocolate curls.
Serve immediately!
YIELD: 6 servings; recipe easily doubles
President's Hot Chocolate
Hot chocolate that's good enough for the White House, with both milk and light cream.
Add sugar and cocoa to milk and heat in a saucepan until dissolved. Add the cream, cinnamon and vanilla. Heat until almost boiling. Mix well and serve, topped with whipped cream and a bit of orange zest
Special Hot Chocolate
It's special because it's so simple.
INGREDIENTS:
2 1/2 cups milk, scalded
2 oz unsweetened chocolate
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
PREPARATION:
In a blender, combine chocolate, sugar, vanilla and salt, with 1/2 cup of the milk. Blend until smooth, then add the rest of the milk. Serve immediately
PLACE chocolate, 1/2 cup of the milk and the sugar in blender container; cover. Blend on high speed until well blended.
ADD remaining 1 cup milk, the ice, frozen whipped topping and vanilla; cover. Blend on high speed until smooth.
SERVE immediately.
